There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard...

We drove to Indiana from Wisconsin today.

Funny, when I was going to type that, I almost said 'we drove home today', except that I'm not going home, I'm leaving it...

Anyways, we drove to Indiana, which even then is not my home, if we call home where I spend the majority of my sleeping hours during the year. During the drive, there was this MASSIVE storm. It was incredible. The wind was blowing so hard the car would swerve slightly off course every now and then. The clouds were in great billowing bundles, which you could watch as they fluxed in and out and swirled around. They were very low to the ground. It was very intense.

It looked like what I feel like, inside. Sounds falsely poetic, I know, but it's true. I miss him...a lot, but that won't get me anywhere. I miss you. I miss everyone, and I'm feeling stretched, tired from trying to love too many people...

...that sounds horrible. And yet, here I am, sitting at a computer in my grandmother's house, with my family but feeling very alone, very confused, very...I don't know.

And I need your more tonight...

alone...

I sorta know what you mean Ellen, I often feel the most isolated when I`m in a room full of people... But don`t worry we`re all here for you, can`t wait to see you again.

Thunderstorms

That storm hit while I was at work. I work a block from the lake, and I desperately wanted to run out to the beach and watch it, but I thought that might be undignified. And possibly lethal. Still.

My great-grandmother lives in Madison, and we visit her once a year...and last year's shopping didnt work out because my grandfather tagged along with us so it became a "family event". Anyways, I wasn't at camp, we go to my grandfather's lake cottage in Waupaca Wisconsin for the two weeks after camp every summer.

Waupaca WI. My grandfather owns a lake cottage there, we spend the two weeks following camp there every summer. It's about...three hours away from LG, I think.

Storms are pretty. Albeit not fun to drive in, and often not very safe.

Awww. We miss you too.

Lol at Ellen the stripper...yeah, that could so happen too, the physics thing. Now Mr. Walker...

When we were driving from Philadelphia to Houston, we got caught in a storm like that in Louisiana. We also went through a barrage of lovebugs in Mississippi and we didn't know what they were, so we were extremely confused. Heh.

No matter how spacey I may seem, I'm always there for you.
